Ultra-lightweight and with a footprint of only 47.6 cm, the new Neo Tenkara rod allows any angler to approach the fascinating Japanese fixed rod fly fishing technique called Tenkara. Primarily suitable for trout fishing in streams this minimalist fishing technique involves the use of a rod, a fluoro carbon monofilament (or tapered) line and a handful of flies to enable even the least experienced angler to make his first catches. Especially suitable for those who want the best compromise between simplicity, lightness and effectiveness in fishing.
The Neo tenkara is available in two sizes:
3.6 m: Suitable for medium/small streams or streams with dense riparian vegetation that restricts movement for launching. Because of its lightness, compactness and ease, it is also recommended for introducing women and children to fishing.
3.9 m: Suitable for medium/large watercourses with good action space. The longer rod length also allows more control of the line and fly when fishing.
